New legislation was introduced into the UK in 2006 which facilitated a revision of how HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and food safety training was carried out. The old basic Food Hygiene course was joined with the new HACCP regulations, and renamed Food Safety Training Level 2 for Catering. The same route was followed for the Retail and Manufacturing courses.
The course is divided into 5 lessons:
Level 2 courses tend to be more complex and have a wider range of learning content. Our courses allows the user to spend as much time as they are comfortable with to ensure they fully understand the course and are ready to take an examination on the course which increases the pass rate immensely.
The examination follows industry standards. Users are given a 30 multi-choice question range from a knowledge bank of 90 questions. The user must ensure that they get 20 correct answers in order to obtain a certificate (66%). Certificates can be received electronically in real time or can be received the following day by post.
